R.E.M. (though R.E.M. has like 5-6 best albums...but I think Murmur tops them all)
No way.

I might agree with The Ramones, but I think I like Rocket to Russia the most.

I would have completely disagreed a few years ago but now I think you might actually be right.

Yea. Sell Out is a very close second, and then there's nothing else that is a real contender in my mind.
A Quick One is pretty damned good too.

Sugarcubes, totally.
Sun Kil Moon, really? I'm not knowledgable enough to argue, just surprised.
Did J&MC even do another record besides Psycho Candy? Is it worth hearing?
Psychocandy is my wife's least favorite JMC album. She is crazy.

To counter Jorge's assertion in the "First Album is the Worst" thread, I'm going to put Broken Social Scene's Feel Good Lost here. As much as I like their other albums, this one is the most in line with my own listening preferences at any given time. It flags a little bit around the middle part ("Prison Province" and "Stomach Song"), but is otherwise stronger and more consistent than their other efforts.

I'd agree with Sun Kil Moon simply bc trying to decide which of his albums is best is like trying to decide which late era Nicolas Cage movie is best.
