Jesus fox just give mcu the xmen already

I hope this is good but it's gonna suck

I'm assuming it goes on sinister taking the wolverine DNA n creating x 23 or something combined with old man logan, minus the hulk n Hawkeye n everything in old man logan

I haven't read any of the Old Man Logan series so this will all be new to me. I kinda like that. :D

March 3rd? Well I know where I'm going to be on my birthday.

Also that looks God-damn awesome. If they can make sure the guy who edited Wolverine isn't involved, it should be good.

damn, I'm impressed. I've never said that after watching a wolverine trailer. Maybe they finally did it and made a good one. Definitely feels like they went and made a movie that captures the tone of the wolverine comic books. It took 16 years but who is counting?

An extra badass scene in the Intern. trailer. See if you can spot it.

Amazing trailer...the source material is great. I hope they can finally deliver this time.

Considering it's the thumbnail for the video...

I wasn't super impressed. I've always loved Hugh Jackman in this role, and i'm sure he'll be great, but nothing about that has me bubbling over with excitement, and the Johnny Cash Hurt cover was a bit obvious - almost distracting, really.

If there was a strong track record with these movies, or this director, that's a different story.

I'm also a little nervous about the R rating. Certain stories need an R rating for the themes or presentation of the movie, but they require restraint too, especially when you're moving a story up from a PG or PG 13 framework - I don't like seeing stuff shoehorned in just because it's R and you can (this was a gripe with Deadpool). Not that there were any of those moments in the trailer (there weren't) but it's still a worry.

The images in that trailer... :heartbeat:

If the tone/emotion of the film matches that of the tone/emotion of that trailer then this thing is going to be special. This might be the first superhero film that I make a point to see in theaters since TDKR.

yes, im still on the fence because the previous wolverine movies sucked really hard but im really hopeful with the source material and the tone of the trailer.

I haven't been a huge fan of the xmen movies, don't really love superhero movies enough to enjoy the volume we've been getting anyway, and haven't felt much enthusiasm for Jackman as Wolverine...but that's a great trailer.

I didn't hate the first solo Wolverine movie. And I didn't see the second one.

But nothing in that trailer makes me think this will be anything like those other two at all.

It looks like it has a redemption story that would have a good chance of getting made even if it didn't have The Wolverine in it, which is something you can say about few of these movies.

It does look good and I typically have very little interest in the X-Movies. Something about an old frail Patrick Stewart got to me. I imagine they'll find some way to ship X-23 to the past by the end so she can play with the other X-Men and replace Wolverine.

I can't believe he abandoned the Huge Jacketman project for this.
