That had to be one of the most brutal and powerful hours of television I've ever seen.

This show is profoundly great. Bleak and endurance testing, too be sure. But also beautiful and potent.

Well that last episode was certainly disturbing in places

Watched the first 4 episodes of Season 2 so far.

Pretty fantastic.

They are really bashing us over the head with modern-day parallels.

Love how brutal this show can be.

This show is becoming more relevant and scary by the day.

Pretty sure there are 13 eps. "Holly" is ep. 11.

Also, why did you dislike it?

They are dragging out the eventual escape or attempted escape/rescue until the end of the season just to have another season ending cliff hanger. That is such a tiresome thing that every. single. show does now.

If that's really where we go, I'll probably agree with you. But I'm not sold yet that that is the end game.

For the record, I think the last two episodes of this show have been two of the most provocative, profound, and impactful episodes of a TV show I can remember. This show is absolutely phenomenal. Full stop.

I thought the last two episodes were pretty fucking great as well.

The juxtaposition between survival instincts and pure animal/revenge instincts is what makes this show so great.

I mean, I guess I should wait for the S2 finale next week but... yeah, after two seasons this show is hands down the best show on TV right now and probably the best show I've seen since Mad Men.

Brilliant on every level.
