anyone else point out that that song titled something like "Don't Give Way to Love" sounds exactly like "Down By The River"?

Quote from the above article
“I just wanted to do my thing and get extra weird,” Auerbach said of the new LP, which was recorded in just two weeks with the help of Leon Michaels, who assisted him on past collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Dr. John. “I wanted everything to flow [and] be cohesive. A lot of the songs bleed one into the other, a lot like the Grateful Dead – my favorite records that they did. So I’ve got a lot of connected songs. It’s basically everything I love about music all wrapped up into one record – that’s all

for those of you that haven't seen netflix's 'bojack horseman' 1) you should rectify that immediately, and 2) patrick carney does the main theme and it is excellent. just came across a full version now and figured i'd post it.

why do people hate the Black Keys so much? i'm agnostic about them either way, mostly bc I just haven't given them a large amount of listens to form an opinion. but what i have heard I've mostly enjoyed. but seems like people just shit on them all the time... is it bc they were told to by Jack White? or bc they got pretty popular?

Not sure how anyone who enjoys the "rock" genre couldn't like these guys.

eh they are just popular and don't really stretch themselves. The SJW types like to throw around the "appropriation" BS from time to time to insult them. None of those are good excuses to hate them, but I'm kinda tired of them lately.
Then again I thought Jack White's last album was more of the same, too, so he can't talk.

I like them. Especially Rubber Factory and Brothers, but I thought the last two albums were kinda snooze fests.

Those ones have the touch. The rest are okay. Last one didn't tickle me.
