Immortality is top 5 overall PJ for me. Might be number three. Nothingman is great, but Last Exit could easily flip flop with it.
Immortality is kind of bland. I never listen to it anymore. It seems plodding and monotonous.

"Last Exit" is probably my favorite song on "Vitalogy" -- apart from the few radio hits, it was the first Pearl Jam song I heard, and 22 years later it still feels equally menacing and poppy in a way I can't quite pin down. "Not For You," the studio take especially, has a strange ambiance to it that transcends its compositional simplicity, but it ain't no "Last Exit."

It's a good song. But yeah I've never understood why everyone loves it so much. To me, it is the pinnacle of "overrated."

That's cool. If a random person had never heard PJ before and asked to hear one song that embodies all that is PJ, I might pick Corduroy. It is quintessential Pearl Jam.
