Very subtle Twin Peaks reference on this week's new Sesame Street. I'm sure we'll watch it again later today, so I'll try and grab a screenshot then.

Cookie Monster was supposed to pick the green door, but opened the red one first:

That really looked like you have 2 TVs on top of each other in your living room.

My daughter loses interest in movies about 50 minutes in; I still don't know how Moana ends after watching the first half like 6 times, so I may watch the whole thing while home alone tomorrow.

You could've said: "Don't bother with the second half; you're welcome!"

Why don't you just start it 50 minutes in next time she demands it?

All of my kids are total nerds and love "Doctor Who," even the 4 year old.
We watch one episode a night. I'm doing OK now because we're in the Tennant years. That guy could spend an hour pulling his nose hairs and I'd find it riveting.
Unfortunately we are 4 episodes from the end of his run. Don't think I'll be able to stomach the show without him.

There's this animated movie my daughter loves called "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron"; it's about horses, but they don't speak, they're supposed to be realistic, although Matt Damon does some voiceover stuff for the main character. Every part of it is so unsubtle that it just ends up being boring but not bad. We're on watch #20 or so.

Huh. Bryan Adams and Hans Zimmer worked on the score for that. I was interested in checking it out but now...huh. No words at all from the horses?

Nope, except for voice-over narration a few times during the movie. Matt Damon reads them in the most unenthusiastic voice imaginable; I actually tried to find how much he made on this movie, because he fleeced them. Adams' songs are just laughable with how on-the-nose they are--he's just describing what's happening on screen. The score is fine.

Wow. My wife and son would hate me for forcing that on them.
Let's do it.

We've just introduced our kids to some Studio Ghibli films. My Neighbour Totoro and Ponyo went down well. I only have a subtitled version of Kiki's Delivery Service which is a shame as they'd love that one.

The Wiggles.
My kids are completely addicted to the Wiggles. It's like they're on crack watching that show.
