I think that's kind of true of most bands , my ex loved the kinks, and knew all their music, including the stuff you're talking about, but that's how people are when they get very into an artist/band. The kinks are huge because of the hits, the rest seems like a personal preference, which isn't a bad thing, but a ton of awesome music is like that, to me

Yeah, that sounds right. It's definitely more of my preference that people dive deeper into the Kinks vast catalog of lost / forgotten gems. Thanks to the recent Bruce tournament, I feel that way about him too. Prior to it, I only knew his hits and a few deep cuts.

Hey Jerry. I saw that you might be going to see the band Sponge. My wife and I are friends with Kyle Neely, the guitar player, and his wife. I mentioned to his wife this morning that you might go see them play. She said to let her know and you could do a meet and great if your interested. Hope your doing well!
