I mean bootleg recordings never sound that great on vinyl, but that's because the people that make boots often don't have the masters to work from. So they're never going to sound amazing.CopperTom wrote:Vinyl is the least attractive bootleg format. I wish they'd make them digital only, perhaps then we'd get more than one per year.
Flipping a record or changing discs after just a few songs seems horrible. It must take you out of the flow.bodysnatcher wrote:wonder why?CopperTom wrote:Vinyl is the least attractive bootleg format. oh for sure, I never understood live shows on vinyl. same with comedy albums.CopperTom wrote:Flipping a record or changing discs after just a few songs seems horrible. I don't mean the quality of vinyl. I mean the inconvenience.whygodeepaz wrote:I mean bootleg recordings never sound that great on vinyl, but that's because the people that make boots often don't have the masters to work from. Pretty much all bands are at this point.bodysnatcher wrote:i think it's funny they are using the "sponsored by no one" image on the back of the Vault packaging for this show. sure, it's a snapshot of history, but still funny given how this band is now "sponsored by everyone".
Remember the (fake) story about the band turning down the Viagra sponsorship that featured a penis dancing to Alive.VinylGuy wrote:Pretty much all bands are at this point.bodysnatcher wrote:i think it's funny they are using the "sponsored by no one" image on the back of the Vault packaging for this show. sure, it's a snapshot of history, but still funny given how this band is now "sponsored by everyone".
What is "out there" sounds like complete shit. It's a crappy mono soundboard feed matrixed with a phasey, medicore audience recording.E.H. Ruddock wrote:So releasing something that is already out there, is it laziness or does the band but want us to have something "new" for some reason?
They would have to try really hard to provide something worse than what we already have.pnjguy wrote:at the very least, all of these formats are going to sound better then what we've all heard correct?
