So, I listened to the live version on the Definitive compilation and I will admit that I like it better than the studio version, but it’s still not my thing. All the power to those who do love it though. I’m sure I like a lot of PJ songs when the consensus here is that they suck.

For the record, I DON'T take Get in the Ring seriously. Its hilarious though. Id rather Eddie just be that funny when talking about Trump because at least it'd be entertaining.

And yes the joke is at least 60% on Axel, but it's amazing how he somehow allows me to laugh 40% with him, especially because I don't think he's joking.

Yea but they've played it incorrectly live every fucking time. At least compared to what they laid down in the studio.

is this one of those ones were Matt only hits the snare on 2 and 4 instead of on all 4 beats like he's supposed to?

Its mike and stone. The chord changes in the chorus have been always been different than what was laid down in the studio. Unless im fucking deaf as fuck and have no idea what im talking about. its been bugging me for years.

In the studio the chords for the chorus appear to be: C G B A then C G D A

Live? its always just C G D A

Bothers me. And im going to talk to Stone about it over breakfast.

I was listening to Vitalogy this evening, and it is inexplicable to me that:

This never became a massive live staple

That they fuck it up so often

Atlanta 94 remains the definitive version - 5 star performance

“Oh my word” is one of Ed’s best vocal deliveries ever.

Even with Mike getting off the count at the end. Agreed.
