My CD arrived on Monday. I'm listening to it now for the first time. Fade outs after each track really sucks. Kinda ruins it for me. I'll probably never listen to this ever again.

i am not surprised about the fades. i assume it is done for either of these reasons:

1. purchaser hears the soundtrack and decides to hear the rest, so pearl jam gets money from the official bootleg sale.

2. the songs in the film segue into non-music moments like immagine in cornice.

3. fuck logic.

I'm still looking forward to the film and bootlegs. No one needed a soundtrack that included the staples. Again.

4. Whoever had responsibility for assembling the soundtrack is just fucking lazy.

Fadeouts don't really bother me...
