They obviously have that element in common but they're totally different animals. And made in vastly different ways. With different objectives. In different eras. With different obstacles and technologies.B wrote:The capstone on a long series of movies?epilogue wrote:But it also seems weird too compare them.
And yet three engage in so of that you do.epilogue wrote:I don't really feel three need to engage in so of that.
It was a joke. You seem to have me all figured out and have lumped me in with "random internet assholes" due to my SW movie rankings? I could give a shit about all that other noise - which was actually one of my chief complaints about RoS - the Kylo/Rey or *ReyLo* bullshit was seemingly shoehorned in there at the end because of the Shipping communities.epilogue wrote:They obviously have that element in common but they're totally different animals. When Fast and Furious puts out it's final movie will people constantly say it's < or > Endgame? Or Rise? Or Planet of the Apes?
It seems like the fandom (the internet) has forced a comparison that isn't totally natural. And then that's been extrapolated by some fans to become a gross kinda handshake and excuse for othering.
I don't really feel the need to engage in all of that.

Yeah buddy my response to B wasn't about you or your opinions. I certainly don't think you're some random internet asshole.TremorJam wrote:It was a joke.
