Love the Packers taking Jonathan Franklin. Between him, Lacy and Alex Green they should have a nice group. I have to think Starks is on the way out.
Schefter also just made a great point: everyone was talking about the Niners having too many draft picks and not enough roster spots. The Niners can more than afford to burn a pick on Lattimore and stow him on IR in 2013.Green Habit wrote:Very nice job, Niners. By the time Lattimore is fully recovered, Frank Gore could be starting to go past his prime.
The 9ers had so many picks this draft that it was/is nearly impossible for them to screw it up. That is one stacked team and the one I fear the most as a Saints fan.Green Habit wrote:Very nice job, Niners. By the time Lattimore is fully recovered, Frank Gore could be starting to go past his prime.
This 4th round was one of the most entertaining 4th rounds I can think of in a while. And I'm saying this being a fan of a team that traded out of the 4th this year.Orpheus wrote:Yep, Lattimore to the Niners makes perfect sense. Has day three been the most fun day of this draft so far?
Looks like it was a 6th that they gave upDr. Van Nostrand wrote:Anyone know what the bus gave up to trade up earlier for spence ?
He will be very interesting to watch, i would have liked to see someone like him on Tampa as wellGreen Habit wrote:Denard Robinson is a Jaguar. Tebow fans are now on suicide watch.
Yeah, I agree, and that is a very Seahawk pick. Adding him in the Mebane/Bryant rotation will be sick.Orpheus wrote:Seahawks take Jesse Williams in the 5th, a lot of people are calling it the steal of the draft so far.

Not sure about that guy, but with these new DB's Ronde might be on his way out. :/Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Well Tampa got stronger again at CB so they definitely should not be historically bad at pass defense again, but they still need Dline help bad, so Im hoping there are some potential starting DTs left and some good rotational DEs. and Im still not quite sure how to feel about glennon, i wanted a QB but the 3rd round seemed like it should have been Nassib or Barkley, but i think they went with Glennon because of the big arm, he fits how Schiano wants to play offense and he would be able to step in with out much adjustment if they need him to. Now if freeman totally bombs this year and they are picking high next year i still think they will be looking for a first round QB so Im looking at Glennon as a QB for them to groom but ultimately be the back up for the next few years
patterson got an 11 on the wonderlic (jackson got a 15, the lowest score of any WR ever drafted by NE), has had academic trouble at every level, limited productivity/sample size (only eleven games and 46 receptions in his only year in major college football), and was red flagged by multiple teams for a questionable work ethic.Orpheus wrote:Patterson is raw but he could be great in a catch and run offense. Some guy did tape study and found that Patterson broke tackles at an absurdly high rate. Where did you get the impression that he's too dumb to play? Wonderlic or something else?
