I miss those days of him being very out there and not afraid to take chances. It sounds like this album is not that but still good from what I hear. I'll have to get it.

The new record put be on a bit of a Beck binge the past few days. He's definitely got the Neil Young kind of thing where there's a huge amount of incredible songs that never made it to a record. He played this song just one time, apparently.

I really liked "Seventh Heaven," but none of the other songs on this album really did it for me on first listen.

i've never been a big Beck fan. the stuff i do like is the depressing acoustic shit. Sea Change is my favorite album of his. this "45-year-old man acting like Katy Perry" stuff is trash to me.
