most of her attempts at humor fall completely flat

I think that moment that crystallizes why I dislike Jim is when Toby innocuously tries to give him a fist bump, and Jim makes a thing out of it and completely humiliates Toby. What a massive dick.

Jim and Pam are both great. I love their chemistry. I think they're relationship/journey is the first thing that I fell in love with about the show.

I still think the writers got Jim and Pam together far too early. Sure, the whole “will they, won’t they” thing might be played out, but that was by FAR the most interested I ever was in either of their characters. Their actual relationship was kind of boring.
