Speaking of that dumpster fire franchise, I don't hate them because they're called Raiders. Their idiot mascot, their basic color scheme, they city they call home, their hyper agro fans dressed as Gwar and Darth Vader, these have nothing to do with why I hope they never win another game and will continue to cheer their defeat again and again, long beyond my desire to care about all other things NFL related.

I think your primary obstacle is going to be getting children to buy plush toys in the shape of the state of Nevada, pestering their parents for Nevada t-shirts, baseball caps with the outline of Nevada on it, etc.
