Vibe shift
At 1:43 he says "The fact-checkers have become too politically biased, and have destroyed more trust than they have created, especially in the US." Again, I'm not on the platform so am unclear on how the fact-checking worked, but I'm A) skeptical of this statement, B) more inclined to believe that the mainstream media has grown into a statistical echo-chamber where the data is often right, but the opinions and conclusions are often wrong, and C) that Zuck mostly doesn't want to cede market share to VP Musk.
I'm not remotely skeptical about that statement, as "fact checkers" have always been made up bullshit, and if you believe their jobs were to check facts, I have a bridge to sell you.

Tutors are gone within 36 months, teachers will follow in the early 2030s:

So the Chinese figured out how to do AI on cheap hardware? So all those high powered chips are overpriced? Sounds like my Nvidia neighbors will have to sell some of their Porsches.

Does this part really matter, though? They don't care, and if it is cheaper and better, the rest of the world shows that they don't care as much either.

Does it really change anything though? More compute might still win. AI Bros just need to get better at making it, or steal from China.

Meta apparently already has a team working nonstop to try and figure out how they are doing it. Zucks doesn’t want to upset his new daddy

Helps clear the path for Team Trump to repeal existing labor laws/human rights. He’s probably behind this, actually.

It's because they used Meta IP without a license.

Pretty funny to read about openAI & Microsoft accusing the Chinese for stealing their data to train their AI, because wasn't that what openAI and all the other AI companies did; took the data online without asking any permissions to train their AI?
