Yes. Rubbish doesn't even begin to describe it.

Fair enough - I'll steer clear of picking that up then.

Found an original LP pressing of Nevermind for $200 at my record store, but it was gone within a couple of days

Can’t find the regular nirvana thread.
Just saw this. Nirvanas first show here. Supporting sonic youth. This venue was tiny. Amazed they played there.
Enjoy

It's fine for what it is. But no different from the "Devonshire Mixes" on the Nevermind box or any of the alternate mixes found on that shit rarities box. It's not a remix like your typical restoration remix by Steven Wilson or whatever. It's a deliberately different view of the album. People often compare it to the original mix but it's apples to oranges. It probably should have been called "2013 Alternate Remix" or some such shit.

The Devonshire mixes are brilliant. The energy and little bit of rawness a great when you get too acquainted with the original.
FYI To this day In Utero is my all time favourite album

In the interests of pedantry, the original In Utero album was always an Albini mix (with the exception of two songs, Heart-Shaped Box and All Apologies).

Yeah, it was cool to finally get the original Albini mixes of HSB and AA as bonus tracks on the anniversary release. It means one could finally compile an Albini-only mix of the album. I wonder why the Scott Litt mix of Pennyroyal Tea was not used for the album? They chose to keep the original Albini mix instead.

Is that 2013 mix the same as the “old” bootleg? Or did albini redo it all?
