It's good to hear someone say that because that is how I heard it at first before I realized what it was. Ed's pronunciation is so weird sometimes, by which I mean kind of ugh.

I can see why they left this off Gigaton, but I'd put it between Comes Then Goes and Retrograde, and maybe cut River Cross. Three Cornell songs is probably too many.

Sent this to my PJ diehard best friend, who strongly dislikes Binaural and only recently maybe saw Riot Act gain some esteem in his eyes.

Didn't expect him to like it all that much, but he threw a 3.75 on it. Said he was glad it wasn't on Gigaton, though, album-wise.

Love that Ed is singing in his current range especially vocal parts he would, in the past, scream - instead ("Since you went AWAAAAY"), he's going up an octave but staying in range. The Pre-Chorus is really excellent. The last minute soars. The verses are weak. Good song overall.

I usually don't get up in arms about fadeouts but fuck....

This is a rare case for modern PJ where the performance (both Ed and the band) elevates a good song to pretty great
