All of the discs have those little blips between tracks, but the Milwaukee show has full-on two-second gaps between every single song -- not little sector-boundary error thingies -- it sounds like they burned the disc using the track-at-once method, so the applause sounds like: "Ahhhhhhhh"--two seconds of dead silence--"aahhhhhh.." There is also this weird weblike pattern on the back of the first disc suggesting some kind of warping, causing about 4 songs to pop continuously all the way through.

Am I right in thinking that the "Nugs" guys that produce these CD's are basically just a bunch of hippies with a CD burner operating out of their basement?
Write a polite note to info@tenclub.net. They'll probably send you replacements. Then report back.
They will tell you to contact Nugs. Their customer service is very inconsistent.
Well, if you want anyone to know there's a problem, you gotta go through the motions. If sales drop, it could be because of a lot of reasons. If they start getting flooded with e-mails about poor quality, they have a chance to fix it.

I feel like Nugs was their pot dealer until Washington passed recreational weed, so they gave him a job at the warehouse out of pity once his sales hit the tank

The boots have had sector boundary and gap issues since the beginning of time. The first few shows of the 2006 tour had sector boundary errors until someone said "HEY IDIOTS! FUCKING ALIGN THE SECTORS" and they fixed it. But then by the European Tour, the SBE's were back and were never fixed again. Because, who the fuck cares? The 10 Club has never been on top of things like that. Aligning the sectors in TLH would take about 15 goddamn seconds, but they can't be bothered, so we have to do it ourselves. Now that we're in CD-R mode, the two-second gaps are creeping in as well. Why bother to learn how to use the burning software?

Hi,
Bootleg CD's are shipped directly from Nugs.net.

Please contact orders@nugs.net for order and shipping status.

Not exactly top-shelf customer service, but oh well. Because of the feedback from this thread I contacted Nugs yesterday anyway, and within a few hours they replied promising to send a replacement. So given2trade can sleep soundly tonight knowing all is right with this issue.

Oh, so Nugs is a company. I thought it was just some burnout guy named Nugs who's burning CDs in a small warehouse.

I don't know that those things are necessarily mutually exclusive.

And if there was a "favorite" button this is when I would use it.

My renewal was today. I notice they've added an expiration date to my bootleg download code. :|

Downgraded my 10C membership to digital today. I couldn't cut the cord entirely... maybe next year?

Yeah i did the same thing a couple of years ago. My renewal is up next month and I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not. My num is 158xxx, but that doesn't even matter anymore

I keep imagining that Pearl Jam will break up soon, but keep the 10C running. Then in 20 years they will play an ultra cool acoustic reunion somewhere and I will want my 10C number then...

That's pretty much the only way it will be worth hanging onto.

FWIW...I didn't renew last year. I'll miss the annual vinyls, but it just wasn't worth it. The seats weren't all that great. I'm over 30, so I didn't have music use for the stickers.

I enjoyed it while it lasted, but ah well..I was 210xxx and joined around 2000.
