They always make it interesting and lose

Matt Ryan is done, he's slightly above average good enough to lose close and that's it. He's going to make a lot of money and not win anything

This is 97% Dimitroffs fault.

The world may come to an end if they do

I just read Joe Flacco's detailed stats from yesterday:

Code: Select all

Comp Att Pct Yds Avg TD Int Sck SckY Rate
25 50 50.0 347 6.9 2 5 4 26 46.4
New Rule: he has to pay Rahim Moore $100k every time he throws an INT. :gomez:

Random thought....

While there's no guarantee that Denver makes the Super Bowl, if they do, and the weather is shitty in NYC on that winter day...how do you like Denver's chances against, say, Seattle?

I am cautiously optimistic about the Detroit Lions.

My first thought was that the only Super Bowl Peyton Manning has won thus far was in bad weather.

and its not like he is playing home games in a dome anymore, chances are weather will have been bad for them with home field through the playoffs

seems that all the best NFC teams are dome teams, so he'd probably have the advantage.

Yeah, unless it's really really cold, I think he'll be OK. That Ravens playoff game last year wasn't just your normal cold winter game. At least that's what I tell myself when I think about it and get worried.

Seattle?
for some reason I thought their stadium had a retractable roof.

The Kansas City Chiefs have now won twice as many games as they did last season.

No quarterback will like the NYC Super Bowl much if it's windy that day....I think the wind is the biggest issue vs. snow, rain, cold temps.

Not sure how windy it was when Peyton won that first title in the rain.

Just something to think about in general...will that Super Bowl location play a factor in determining this year's best team?
