Fucking A, i have slept beautifully the last 6 nights.

I am back in Minnesota and couldn't be happier. I can't believe i lived at 8,000' elevation for so goddamn long. I become miserable and sick because of it.

Why the fuck is it daylight well before 5am? This needs to be fixed.

Also, I will not miss the skylight just outside our bedroom, and my wife insisting we keep our bedroom door open so we can hear our kid.

Every house/apartment we’ve been in since we got married has had the master bedroom on the fucking East side of the building. It blows.

Yeah we have a patio door facing east in our master, which has had effective blackout curtains over it for years. We were just too cheap to ever get a shade to cover the skylight - should’ve done it years ago.

We had to go out to look for a fridge. Kid was patient for that, so the wife offered to take her to Kmart around the corner for a toy. What I wasn’t told was there’s a fucking IKEA in the same shopping center - well played wife. Got out of there after 4pm, thought it was like 2pm. No nap.
