Ghost sounds so much better live. I love eds voice on riot act, but this one really benefits from slightly more oomph in the vocals imo.
This was followed by a vs/vitalogy song the other day on shuffle and it fit in really well.

I'm a huge fan of Ghost (top 2-3 songs on the album). I think I still prefer this to Ghost though. We'll see when the newness wears off.

Why has this song just made me think of The Cure?

They played it in a lower key.
What a pisser.
Totally awesome to see Mike rockin' the aluminum Electrical, however.

Since much of the song is shouting/talking, and the parts that aren't don't sound terribly out of Ed's range, I'm kind of surprised they're already playing it in a lower key. They're still tearing through Mind Your Manners at its normal pitch and that sounds like it'd be quite a bit rougher on Ed's pipes than this.

Isn't that part after the bridge pretty high, the screams are anyway.

A few people on the pit in the fanviews thread said Ed was struggling with his throat at times, so maybe they just played it lower last night to help Ed out.
I wouldn't be surprised if next time we hear it, it's in normal key.
That being said, after non stop listening to the record this week I've finally decided this is my least favourite song.

This. The riff is stuck in a boring rut.

I enjoyed the performance though.

I don't really mind it. It just sounds sadder rather than insane and doesn't take off as much as the proper version. I might be wrong, but i think the 'talky' nature of it means its destined to always sound a little off.
Stone headbanging
no pendulum or yellow moon from this show yet? on youtube i mean.

Whatever key it's in, it'd be a total treat live.

I vote that if they want to play faster, they should write more of these hard and angry songs that you can afford to play faster. This song isn't ruined with the speed, and neither is MYM.
