Finished Season 4. Might have been my favorite so far but not always enjoyable. I was always nervous about what was going to happen to those kids. Only issue was with Bubbles and the accident with the cyanide. That was some Law and Order SVU shit they normally avoid that sort of thing.

Just started season 5.
There have been many "oh fuck" moments in this series, but
- Spoiler: show
- Bodie getting dropped, and in the way that he did
hit me way harder than I expected.

I've been watching The Wire lately, and S3E11 is just beautiful. Probably the best episode of the series.

Wire fans would probably like ITV's Appropriate Adult, starring Dominic West and Emily Watson. His performance is stellar. It's just a two-part miniseries, so it's not a huge time commitment. It's on Netflix.

Stretched out watching Season 2 more than I had planned, catching the last three on Friday. I didn't see it ending like it did so that was good.
Going to start season 3 soon. I know how well appreciated that one is & I'm looking forward to getting started. Needless to say I'm glad they are all On Demand through November. They were set to expire Jan. 1 but have been extended. Several episodes were dropping off before then so I was anxious to wrap up the second season.

I had a dream last night that David Simon had secretly begun to film Season 6 of The Wire, but never finished it. However, he decided to use some of the footage as the basis for a new miniseries, and it was awesome.
