Last year we were asked to write a theme tune for the Bond movie Spectre.
Yes we were. It didn’t work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much.
As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it.

While this is certainly much better than that bland Sam Smith shit, honestly, it would not have been a good choice for a Bond song. I don't fault the producers for not using this.

It's one of their best piano riffs. Haunting, eternal, soul-shattering stuff. Thom's voice beautifully synced with the horns, the sudden off-kilter bridge, the gentle heartbeat rhythm. Just the best.
