And lucky him, he landed with some 50-somethings in camo shorts with skull guitars and poor video production skills!

If you're gonna be Alice In Chains II, I don't think there are many other paths.

Been into a huge AIC phase these days...Been listening to a few podcasts with Jerry and Mike, and forgot how cool and easy going these guys are.

Tripod and Facelift are owning me these days...Layne´s vocals in tripod are fucking haunting...the band is so tight and yet loose, its feels they are actually jamming through the album.

And Kinney just owns the whole thing. He is great.

But then we wouldn't have ever seen it!

Not sure if I am more impressed by the woman in the mirror or the guy that sounds like Layne.

Well the guy seems too much of a copy, I'd be very surprised if that is all natural, and not done to sound like Layne. The woman I can't complain about, but bathroom selfies don't really score too high with me.

Never really understood why people seem to rate Tripod as lower tier AIC. Granted, Heaven Beside You was my introduction to the band and that album was the only thing of theirs I owned as a teen, so in my mind that's what the band is "supposed" to sound like. As an adult, it's still the one that impresses me the most. It feels colossal and layered while the first two feel heavy and full of good songs but kind of one note.
