Pretty good actually. Much better than a van Halen cover.

As everyone said, this was great fun. I still don't think I'm a fan of the slower opening jams, but there were some great tunes in there. Standouts were definitely All Those Yesterdays, Greivance, Masters of War, Black, Baba, Strangest Tribe. I dunno if I'm sold on the full-band Society. I was afraid Youk was going to say, "Boston strong!" and then the show would've jumped the shark. How could I forget Patriot? If you've heard Ed's version with C-Average, it sounded just like that, really great.
The lack of Vitalogy songs was noticeable, if you're into conspiracy theories. Good mix from all eras. I met chud. Great night.

The pic was pretty obvious

Masters of War sounds absolutely amazing. Musically beautiful. Anger. A sense of urgency. Fantastic!

I was trying to think of what is was last night... it was this. Similar to Release during Philly 2, it seemed like he really, really meant the words and wasn't just another cover
BTW, was that the all time record for covers in one show? Masters, Patriot, Society, C Numb, Draw, Gotta Feeling, Baba?

Looks like there is no pit tonight? - reserved seats all the way to the front? That tells you something about a Boston crowd, eh?
I've been to Fenway once, and it just so happened to be a game vs. the Yankees. It was strange to me that in every aisle from the concourse there wasn't an usher, but rather an armed cop. Ludicrous compared to baseball in Seattle. I learned why very quickly. At least one fight/ejection per inning plus more puking in that one game than I've ever seen in the hundreds of other games I've ever been to combined. The Fenway staff was good with it, too. Bam, in and outta there with some sawdust real quick, like it never even happened. I guarantee you that would have cleared out at least 10 rows' worth of people at Safeco Field.
The Yankees won that night, the score was something like 21-3.
Seattle is soft. That's why they lost XLIX.
- Spoiler: show
- Yeah, I know. It's shameful. I blame Amazon.

Corduroy to close the first encore? When was the last time corduroy was a set closer?

That call and response really breaks the momentum in Corduroy.
