I'm finally listening to this thing and I'm loving the shit out of it.

Life Wasted has been the low point so far. Mike sounds great on it. But everything else is wonky. This is the first one Ed has sounded "bad" on, to me.

Deep is outstanding.

Actually, I'd love to hear Jack White cover Deep.

I must be seriously missing something. To me it sounded like it was all Eddie could do to get through "Deep" without going into an asthmatic fit.

The band sounds phenomenal. And I love Ed's voice on it. He does sound like he's struggling and straining but I like that sound for this song. I love the crackles in the mic, too. It sounds live and passionate and immediate and like it could all fly apart at any second. It's steamy and I love it.
