St. Vincent (San Fermin opening) in Prospect Park. Fantastic all around. Best show I've seen in a long, long time.

Amazing show, all-classics setlist, nice summer night weather, an incredibly enthusiastic crowd of over 40,000 and the Montreal skyline just to the left of the stage visible from my vantage point up on the hill. Very fun way to spend a summer night.

Saw Spiritualized last night. Acoustic show, with a string quartet. Lovely.

Soundgarden/NIN

Soundgarden - performance was fine, but way too many hits for my liking -a 13 song set with Outshined, Spoonman, Black Hole Sun, Day I Tried to Live, and Fell On Black Days? I can handle those in a setlist with 20+ songs where I also get to hear Head Down, or Room a Thousand Years Wide.

No Down on the Upside songs?

Only A Thousand Days Before from King Animal?

Searching with My Good Eye Closed, Supernknown, Rusty Cage, and Beyond the Wheel were awesome though.

Nine Inch Nails - I just wasn't familiar with a lot of stuff they played, I don't own Hesitation Marks. Performance and stage show were incredible. Terrible Lie and Wish were great.

my cass mccombs/meat puppets post should've been used in the "concerts in the not-so-distant future" thread

Ringo a few weeks back. NIN/Soundgarden earlier this month. Band of Horses tonight.
I might be able to get to an E-bow.

All were good, we mainly went for wilco who were amazing as usual, we were slightly disappointed with the widespread set because it basically became a Steve winwood show which was good but we wanted to see a widespread show, and tom petty was solid
