I like a stout and/or porter, but some of these types listed in here look gross.

You should hit North Coast in Fort Bragg as well. The Skunk Train stop in FB is walking distance to the brewery from there.
I've been to Anderson Valley a few times - decent, but I was very underwhelmed.
