Bran would definitely give up his title of Lord of Winterfell at this point. But I don't think there's really any "succession" when it comes to King in the North (a few book theories notwithstanding); it's more about might and honor makes right.

Why wouldn't the King in the North follow normal rules of succession? The North follows the same inheritance rules as the rest of the realm.

I agree with you on Bran though, about not wanting the title at this point (be it Lord of Winterfell or King in the North, which I doubt you can really divorce at this point). And even if he did take it, I don't see him ever having an heir so after his death it would pass to one of his siblings and their children. Sansa if they go female, Jon if he legitimizes him.

I was going to say, didnt Robb actually decree him a stark and his heir a few seasons back? I cant believe i remembered that.

Right, but that doesn't mean it has to be this Stark over this Stark because of birth order or even legitimacy, is what I mean.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It's basically a rehash of the scene were Robb gets the title; I also wasn't into it. When the music swelled, I thought it was going to be the last scene, and I thought, "Is this it?"

Where is the rest of the Baratheon family?

If Robert became king of the goddamn world he probably was from a prominent family. All the Baratheons I can remember seeing are Jamie & Cersei's kids, who aren't actually part of his family. Isn't there some huge Baratheon army somewhere?




PS - That King in the North scene/chant was lame. Lame as in the same exact thing already happened and it was better the first time.

I don't think it's impossible, but I do think her inner turmoil is less vindictive. I get the sense that she's growing by leaps and bounds each day; that the realities of her situation are becoming more clear (don't forget that she was running from Ramsey very recently), and that Littlefinger's proposal is merely one option she is weighing

I interpreted that last scene as her being worried about Littlefinger. She goes from happy about "King In The North" to worried/scared when she see's Littlefinger's face. She knows he doesn't like what's happening and she knows how dangerous Littlefinger is when he doesn't like something.

Yeah, I totally saw a girl who believes (partly because Jon JUST SAID IT) that she should rule the North. They should be chanting "Queen in the North." I think she's hurt that Jon is already embracing the call when he just literally a few hours before told her that Winterfell should be hers. Than I saw Sansa look at Littlefinger with new eyes. She was remember what he'd said at the tree. And maybe she's thinking, "if I can't be Queen in the North, I'll be Queen of the Seven Kingdoms."
