Why would you hand-wave away Trump's personality issues as meaningless? His personality drives all his actions, which results in actual real things happening.

Because I think issues of personality ARE pretty much meaningless when it comes to politics. I don’t care about civility or manners or decorum or any of that shit. All I care about is what Biden will do to improve life for the ruled class, which - as far as I can tell - is nothing.

Then you should just simply understand that the power and influence the presidency has by appointing the right people to head up cabinet and military positions absolutely matters. Most are currently filled by sycophants, unqualified boot lickers or "acting" officials. Not to mention RBG is going to die soon. Get a grip man.

I wasn't talking about manners/decorum. As I said above, Trump's personality problems drive actual decisions, more than for other leaders. It affects who he puts in charge to run parts of the government, foreign and domestic policies, etc.

It seems likely that the worst plausible hypothetical Biden cabinet appointments are better than the actual Trump appointments.
