right but it was in response to trag talking about that specific post and giving it room to breathe.
OK, so in response, am I allowed to imply a more general statement about Strat and Trag's posting style?

I'm not going to get into language semantics here. Trag referred to one post, you followed up with "you mean these other posts of strats?" and then made a condescending post to me when I called it out. No one is keeping you from posting anything, you are "allowed" to do whatever you want, bruv

he's going through a playlist and "live tweeting", it's something he and I both like doing, and I will once the album is out (jot that down so you can be here to rein me in when it happens)
Please don’t.

and so is Strat, and so is Trag

when I said "you mean..." I wasn't being literal; it was meant as a glib tongue-in-cheek "what, the same Strat who laughed at me?" maybe I could have been more precise in my wording though

semantics does actually matter, it's kind of crucial if humans hope to understand each other

also, I never, ever use the word "bruv" except served with a thick dollop of irony lol

when you know I meant "these other posts by Strat (plural)", what was the point in saying "well this isn't one"?

So jealous

He’s like my toddler at a dinner gathering, can’t let anyone else steer a conversation for even 30 seconds

gonna need people to get used to the possibility that it might be harder to hate Pearl Jam stuff on a Pearl Jam fan forum

Well, if the new album is full of spritzy punkers, I've got news for you!

This is also relative to my clearly changing relationship to Pearl Jam and what music i find more drawn to (which is still heavy music in many regards).

Still excited fo rthe new album though!

this two pages of sniping clearly did more justice to Strat’s post then my post where I quoted him and directly engaged with his thoughtful points in an effort to advance an interesting conversation. Your dedication to thread focus and integrity is appreciated. Thank you for your service.

let’s all take a breather and play Dark Matters. it’s a thick slab of pulsating American full-on rock and roll, uh, music.
