Pop thinks Hammon is a great basketball mind and coach. That's good enough for me.

Summer league is utterly meaningless.

Summer league is utterly meaningless.
Except when you are a female coach winning it.

Would you still like the Bulls if they hired Becky Hammon as their head coach after this season?

Thats a dumb question. Shes getting way too much hype is all I'm saying.
It would be pretty difficult to support the team in anything other than a passive way if the muppets in the bulls front office hired a 37 yr old 2nd year assistant who has accomplished exactly nothing outside of 'pop likes her'. Unfortunately for the woman in Sacramento shes 50, so espn isn't going to pay much attention to her...
Fred Hoiberg is a pretty green hire as I've said before but his resume makes him look downright grizzled compared to Hammon.

I wouldn't say the first ever female coach in the NBA is getting too much hype, in fact, isn't it kind of groundbreaking? As far as the second female coach in the NBA, she isn't getting as much hype because she isn't the first. Do you know who the second black player in MLB was after Jackie Robinson?

The female coach novelty just isn't that big of a deal to me (although one could speculate about whether it would be to some of the knuckleheads in the NBA). Shes a shiny object for the media and doesn't have the pedigree to justify it. Thats what bothers me.

A female coach in the NFL....now that would be groundbreaking.

The question is not dumb at all. It actually coming true may be dumb. However asking a question I don't know the answer to is impossible to be dumb. That's what a question is, to get an answer I don't know.

There is one.

That basically just proves my point then about Hammon.

Not really. The female NFL coach was just hired last week. Kind of proving the point that Becky Hammon was groundbreaking. The female coaching men flood gates are now opening up. She was the first. The Tom Brady suspension has stole the headlines from the female NFL hiring.

I just read up on it a little. Hadn't heard anything at all about this Brady's balls or not. Shes an intern...I heard the cavs had a female intern like 10 years ago. Besides this woman isn't as cute as Becky so I doubt espn will run with it.

Some woman is suing Derrick Rose for gang raping her two years ago. Sounds bogus but wtf all the same.

He broke into her house on crutches with his boys and gang raped her though? I think I'll wait until someone besides TMZ picks this up.

Why would Derrick Rose be on crutches in the summer of 2013? He was performing full on court warmups from like February 2013 through the end of the season. He was a full participant in the 2013 preseason just a few months after summer ended.
