You're faithfull that they'd spell things correctly?
I still don't even know what was misspelled "on the press release."

Do not try to correct the press release — that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth: there is no press release.

i didn't actually laugh out loud at this, but I wanted to
Oh, I totally did.
Yeah, I laughed out loud at that too. The comment about Mike wrecking people's toilet got the same reaction as well. I've enjoyed the 200 level of this thread so far.

No, not really. Just pointing it out.

Let's just see if we can get him to go back and give Jack credit for "Happy When I'm Crying."

Music by Ament, lyrics by Vedder.
I'm sure that's correct, but I can't recall where that info originates from.

Thanks! I'll change it in the original list I posted.

I don't have the Christmas singles near me, but if someone has the writing credits for the 1996-present songs that don't appear elsewhere, I'll add them.
EDIT: I've added the following. Are they correct?
Happy When I'm Crying (Irons)
Last Soldier (McCready)
Santa God (Vedder)
Santa Cruz (Vedder)
Turning Mist (McCready)

So the latest track list is real? Back to preferring the fake one (the fact that we always do implies that we have better ideas than PJ).

They are both real. Tides is the new LP. Echoes is basically Lost Dogs 2 -Mind Your Manners is the acoustic version from the upcoming soundtrack.

Seems legit.

I have a vision for what I think it sounds and looks like, based on those titles and the compromise I hope they've reached between what they want and what I want. I wonder how close I'll be.

I haven't been able to figure out how to say what i wanna say about Backspacer and what i want the new album to be, and i still don't know if this is it, but i really want the songs to be more meaningful. I think i feel like Backspacer is mostly a fun album, even though there is some deep stuff in there, it just doesn't feel the same as the other pj albums, and i really like Backspacer.

There is a slightly awkward clash between fun / silly and profound / serious. I kind of like my PJ to take themselves seriously, for the most part. I was never one of the people who got bored of their politics, for example. I say bring it back if that's what makes them fired up and interesting. We might never get it back wholesale, but I do hope that we don't have anything silly spoiling an otherwise good album. Or if we do have anything silly (I'm not against silly), I want it to be actually funny. It's got to work. Johnny Guitar, for me, was a song which had a fun sense of humour and it worked. It was funny and whimsical. Supersonic, not so much.

They have a decent amount of fun songs through out their career, but not a whole album. I really think they do need something political that they don't agree with to motivate them.
