Finally got around to watching that 2nd Aquaman movie. Now I wish I'd left it sitting on my 'to watch' list

I rewatched the 1984 Dune. I forgot just how crazy this one is. And gross. Still a very enjoyable watch.

Just fired up Sam Raimi's Western - The Quick and the Dead. Not really sure what to expect, but the cast is top notch.

Goddamn, it's always so good to see Gene Hackman. He's gotta be a strong contender for the greatest of all time.

It’s difficult for me not to say Royal Tennenbaum, even though I’m sure there are “better”

He plays like characters in a great many things, and that’s perfectly fine

I think that's a great answer. I'd have to think about it, but I might agree. Mississippi Burning, Unforgiven and The French Connection are up there too.

This has been really good so far. I really like these old school epics.

Loved this. The 4k disc looked amazing.

I love the scale of these older epics. The sheer number of extras in some shots is amazing and it's always nice to see real people doing real stunts.

The matte paintings hold up really well, even in 4k. I find them far more appealing than CGI.

I wonder how people in the 60s would have responded to the grim ending?
