Yes, as much as I adore it, it doesn't scratch the itch for me. We've heard under 6 minutes of an album that is over 48 minutes long, with most of what are apparently the best songs still unreleased.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

True. Just that April 19 (or whenever this leaks) can't come soon enough!
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

The whole point your phone at the sky crap really fell flat when they didn’t follow it up with another clip over the weekend. I had forgotten all about it after they released running.
What an absolute bunch of amateurs run their marketing team my god.

They're making us love the lesser tracks. Kinda brilliant.Release_Me wrote:Yes, as much as I adore it, it doesn't scratch the itch for me. We've heard under 6 minutes of an album that is over 48 minutes long, with most of what are apparently the best songs still unreleased.

I'm still looking forward to this even though I've been underwhelmed by the first two tracks and the overall production. Something tells me there will be 4-5 standout tracks based on the band's overall excitement about the writing/recording process.

Yeah, I thought it was going to be an inflection point towards getting a lot of new information. Turned out to be a dud (for us).Release_Me wrote:So that listening party in London was a bit of a letdown for us, as far as getting new information/leaks goes. I'm amazed there isn't more coming out from those who attended. The wait for the album release is getting tougher than I'd hoped or expected.

I wouldn't cancel it but I would consider not interacting with the locals. They seem to lack the basic fundamentals of stringing together coherent sentences that we possess.stip wrote:i am going to London this july. do you think I should cancel that trip?
