Dark Matter is better than Garden, and I want to say it is better than Once, but I don't know that I'm prepared to commit to that just yet

This song is going to, pardon me, SLAY live!

(I just played it for the first time in a while and loved it)

It took me years to not skip Once every single time I played Ten. I don't even know why. I guess I needed to hear Even Flow and Alive more than I needed to hear Once.

that "open hi-hat on the 1 of every bar" thing I keep saying I like?

turns out Matt does it on "Black Hole Sun", which definitely aligns with their comments about Soundgarden drumming

Had all 4 of clan Higgs in the car on Friday and Dark Matter came on the radio so I cranked it. All 4 of us are going to PJ in November, so it was relevant we all give it some attention.

The wife has heard it a few times and hadn't said much. After this play though she comes out with "I don't like the way it sounds. The production's not right". I lol'd and thought "have I got a thread for you!"

Yes. Listening in my Sennheiser HD 650s, 24-bit Qobuz. Sounds phenomenal and I can't wait to hear it live on May 25th.
