The real question is do they trade Lafreniere to get the big defenseman they need or do they move Nylander or Marner instead?Mickey wrote:Ah, the denial stage.
Is this bargaining or is this still denial?philpritchard wrote:The real question is do they trade Lafreniere to get the big defenseman they need or do they move Nylander or Marner instead?Mickey wrote:Ah, the denial stage.
Just joking around. I'm a Leafs fan. Depression 24/7.Mickey wrote:Is this bargaining or is this still denial?philpritchard wrote:The real question is do they trade Lafreniere to get the big defenseman they need or do they move Nylander or Marner instead?Mickey wrote:Ah, the denial stage.
I dunno, the bubble seems to be working and I think they might pull it off. They could still fuck it up with letting families in, but I don't see any reason to lump this in with the really stupid ideas like the baseball season.Strat wrote:are you guys still mad at me for saying this season is stupid

Agreed--huge difference between turning 10-12 games into a play-in tourney and cutting a 162 game season down to 60 games. Some wonky results from that but nothing that wouldn't have happened in the first round anyway (Edmonton and Pittsburgh collapsing).blueviper wrote:We have to remember they are continuing the season that was like 11 games from being over to begin with. So I'd say this playoff outcome should be fairly legit. No asterisks.
Blues are not going to defend their title, that's for sure. Yeesh.
Yeah, the only real difference is Montreal and Chicago getting through to the playoffs. They would have had zero chance if they played out the regular season.Mickey wrote:Agreed--huge difference between turning 10-12 games into a play-in tourney and cutting a 162 game season down to 60 games.
