Happy to see the Spurs cut Fredette. He's fucking terrible. Not sure why Pop even brought him in. He plays Nash-like defense.

Pop was probably just doing someone a solid.

Really well liked around the league. I thought his prognosis was supposed to be decent. Sad.

Yeah I read he had a setback but I thought it was supposed to be very treatable. Sad. Cancer is the worst.

I think the whole Spurs thing is going to be pretty average this year despite the madate that we need to consider them perennial title favorites. I can see the Thunder having a big year out west now that they are healthy.

I don't think the Dubs will come out of the West. Honestly, that's no based on anything tangible--it's really just the sheer amount of perfect health luck they had last year is unlikely to be quite as good this year. I'd take one of the Thunder/Spurs/Grizzles trio. If I have to pick, I'll take the Thunder.
East is again the Cavs to lose.
Cavs over Thunder...or whoever they actually play.
*I predicted before last season that the Cavs would win 2 of the next 3 in no particular order, so I'm contractually obligated to make this pick this season and next.

I totally understand people not picking the Warriors. Lineup versatility is probably my number one determining factor when making predictions now. I think the Thunder are going to be really good, but I don't trust their bench at all.

Even their starting SG situation is a little janky.
