The more I think about Free Solo the more frustrated I get. I feel like structurally/poetically that movie is all wrong. The actual climb is like less than 10 minutes.

Hmm. I think you would lose much of the tension if you stretched the climb out over the entirety of the film. I really enjoyed how they built up to it and everything he went though with training, his relationship, and also diving into a bit of how his personality had developed to a point in which he basically has a detached view on life itself.

If you cut in and out of the climb, the tension would subside. Just watching him do it at the end is mind blowing and terrifying. Just let the film roll.

I'm thinking of taking my neice and nephew to the movies today. I'm leaning towards Shazam, but was wondering if it would be OK for them.

They've seen all the marvel movies, but the DC ones tend to be a bit darker. What do you guys think?

Watched MI Fallout this weekend. Man, that is probably the best "bad guy" in a movie in a long time. He is just menacing in a way that's unusual for a film.
