Have we ever talked about how The Knife apes "Black" on their track "Behind the Bushes"? @1:17 for the impatient

Re: Post Random Pearl Jam-Related Thoughts You Have
The list of songs Pearl Jam chose to debut live in the Bay Area is pretty impressive. Seattle is probably the only market that beats it. About 20 years ago Ed said that the band has played Shoreline Amphitheater more times than any other venue. I don’t know if that’s still true but the Bay Area really was their home away from home for a long time.
Funny though that from Golden Gate Park ‘95 until the Bill Graham Auditorium shows in ‘06, they didn’t play a single show within San Francisco city limits.
First time played live:
Animal - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
Bee Girl - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/2/94
Better Man - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
Blood - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
Daughter - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 11/1/92
Dead Man - Spartan Stadium, San Jose 11/4/95
Dissident - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
Do The Evolution - The Catalyst, Santa Cruz 11/12/97
Drifting - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/20/01
Given To Fly - The Catalyst, Santa Cruz 11/12/97
Go - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
I Am Mine - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/21/01
Last Soldier - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/20/01
Let Me Sleep - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/01/94
Low Light - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/21/01
Nothing As It Seems - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/31/99
Other Side - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/24/10
Rats - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
Rearviewmirror - Slim’s, San Francisco 5/13/93
Santa Cruz - Shoreline Amphitheater, Mt. View (Bridge School Benefit) 10/23/10
Sick O’ Pussies (tag) - Event Center Arena, San Jose 10/30/93

Wishlist - The Catalyst, Santa Cruz 11/12/97

I'm reading Steve Turner's autobiography and the most stunning revelation so far is that Jack Endino isn't actually named Jack Endino.*VinylGuy wrote:yeah i fucking love Mudhoney too. does anyone actually like mudhoney?
i mean like seek out and enjoy and then seek out later and enjoy again and again
or were we all just going along with it and forcing ourselves to listen to it because they had seattle street cred
guess which camp i fall into at this point
* He's Mike Giacondino, so it's a pretty straight (Jon Bongiovi-esque) play on his actual surname.

Maybe it's because I had just listented to the studio version before watching that. I remember liking the Moline boot, but what is going on in that clip? I'm thinking the downtuning isn't doing it any favours. (It is downtuned, right?)

Wasnt that one of those quick release boots? Not an “instant classic”, but like a week later?
