Love that film, although I keep thinking the lead actor is Tom Hardytommy wrote:I had a real good time watching Upgrade this evening.
Damn, you weren't kidding. This was dulltommy wrote:Currently sitting in the theater being bored by the new Apes movie. As well animated as they are I just can't give a shit about these CGI Apes and the girl is pretty annoying.
Probably not. Story wise, this one doesn’t have anything to do with those. It’s set like 300 years after them and other than a mention of one of the characters, it’s pretty much its own thing.Jorge wrote:Damn, you weren't kidding. I did skip the Matt Reeves movies and I wonder if I'd be more invested in this one if I hadn't
Oh damn, i thought this was a continuation from those. Those three starting with Fanco...wease wrote:Probably not. Story wise, this one doesn’t have anything to do with those. I do recommend watching those three tho.
It is a continuation but no direct storylines or characters carry over.Strat wrote:Oh damn, i thought this was a continuation from those. Those three starting with Fanco...wease wrote:Probably not. Really awesome movies with tons of emotional depth. Disappointing to hear this new one is its own thing but saves me the $30 movie date.

Nice. I've only seen it when it was in the theater. Started to re-watch a few times but didn't pull the trigger.tommy wrote:4.5/5lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Rate ittommy wrote:Watching Mad Max Fury Road
This was my second time watching it and I had a great time. It's just wall to wall insanity. Great stunts, costumes and set design. I watched it on 4k Blu-ray too and it looked pretty spectacular.
