Do you suppose Eddie is the type of person who would keep his cool when a 13-year old girl is shoving her breasts in his face? What would you say to a 13-year old groupie? "Put those away and go home" comes to mind.

Which are your other favorites (if any)?
Mind your Manners, Getaway, Let The Reccords Play and Yellow Moon.
Nice. I like the support for LtRP. I think it gets way too much hate around here. It's not my favorite, but it is a solid song and a good new avenue for the band to pursue for sure.
At the same time I don't understand the LtRP hate, I don't get the SW love. Its such a mediocre song
I feel like the song as a whole for me is alright, but when the song kicks up the energy and then the bridge hits....It's at that moment that it rises into something else for me with that solo. BAM! That moment makes me love it. And if there was anything I was going to compare to Unthought Known, it wouldn't be LB. It would be SW.

I would think a guy who had spent the previous ten-plus years playing to crowds of multiple-thousands of people (which, unless all of the reports about the show were wrong, there were more than thirty or forty people there) would be able to ignore a girl who would have to be at the very least 10-15 feet away from him. There's a pretty good chance that she wasn't the first girl to flash her breasts at a Pearl Jam show. Or maybe she was. Or maybe I missed the part where she was one of only eight people there and she ran on stage and pressed her breasts against his face. Which obviously I did. It was wrong for me to judge him.
But yeah. Put those away probably would have been enough. But it's always cool to bully someone, so why pass up the chance? Especially if it's a thirteen year old girl. It would have been cool if she would have gone home and shot her whole family, and then Ed could've written a song about sympathizing with her.

Ed can be an asshole. A lot of artists are total assholes who's emotions swing wildly. One minute they are writing sensitive love songs to their wives and the next minute spewing their venom at whatever target is in there sights. I just hope a cooler head like Matt or Mike smacked him down for that little outburst after the show. That must have been pretty painful for the band to endure.

Like every other post-Binaural PJ album I'll probably hate this album less and most of you will probably not like it nearly as much. The "new PJ smell" just throws everything off.

He was pretty straight-up mean and aggressive towards some pretty easy targets fairly deep into Pearl Jam's career.
That's true. But anger is well-meaning.
Yeah, but anger towards Jewel in 2003 is perhaps getting a bit on the silly side.
Especially considering how hot she was back then.

For whatever it's worth, I remember people who were at that show posting about this on the pit right after it happened, and they were talking about seeing that girl after the show, bragging about how she was the mosquito bites girl and how she managed to get his attention. Also, apparently she kept flashing him WHILE he was making fun of her, and she though the whole thing was hilarious. Also also, iirc she was in her 20s... so... yeah. Why do I even remember this crap.
Vedder was still a shithead of course.

Firstly this.
Secondly, release day! I hope to be struck by a Lightning Bolt, if the postman delivers

I was in no doubt Pendulum would be an early favourite on the poll. It is exactly the kind of song RM has been waiting for. I also was betting on Infallible jumping up to number 2 in a few days, which it has. It's my number 1 by a hair over Pendulum.

I still couldn't choose a favourite song. For me, this album is stronger than S/T because I don't dislike a single song on it, and stronger than Backspacer because although that album was consistently decent, this has a handful of great songs. Backspacer has one (The End).

I died a little inside when you didn't respond with an equally sexy gif, Sarge. I mean, I still love you, and I always will, but I feel like I served this one up to you on a silver platter.

At least when Sgt does finally post another gif we'll be able to say it's a 'return to form'.

Perhaps...
But perhaps he's sitting in front of his laptop right now with Brendan O'Brien next to him, directing Sarge about which gif to post. Or telling Sarge not to post a gif at all, but to instead post an audio clip of some sweet piano playing.
