And, after speculation pretty much since the behind-the-scenes video was released at Comic-Con in July, we know when that final trailer will hit; according to Star Wars 7 News, the tease is meant to be released on October 19th

Now that is great news. I'd expect this trailer to have a lot more in it to get fans and Joe casual excited

it's nice to actually go into this film with so little actual footage revealed. I do want one more trailer that at least gives some rough indication of the plot

The plot is CGI like the last 3, isn't it?

I'm hearing about the clone wars and Star Wars rebels are both really great yet I have a thing where I can't take animation seriously..can anyone tell me are they really worthwhile

The people that I know who are huge Star Wars fans adore both of those shows. I've yet to talk to anyone who is a big fan who is in the least bit disappointed with them. I've watched the first four or five episodes of The Clone Wars, and I think they're fine. Not so engaging that I feel like I have to watch more any time soon. It's enjoyable, but I'm not a giant Star Wars fan.
Apparently, they get better and better as they go, too.

Im going to have to give them a try. I absolutely love star wars but anything outside the movies has never given me much interest. I read a couple book trilogies in middle school but that was about it.
I still absofuckinglutely love the original movies though and i can tolerate the prequels because hey, its star wars.
Id like to try the clone wars animation though.

My son liked Clone Wars. There was a two-parter (Darkness on Umb[something]) that was just about the only Star Wars thing made after the original trilogy that I've flat-out legitimately enjoyed. That story, and a few others that also followed the clone troopers (one reminded me of Aliens quite a bit) tended to look pretty good (admittedly, I wasn't really watching outside of the aforementioned two-parter). The Jedi stuff was a brutal snooze, although I like what I've heard about how it all ended.
We watched an episode of Rebels when I was home sick one day this summer, and it felt like it was made for 6 year olds (my son and his friend, both 9, left halfway through because it was too little kiddish for their tastes).

If you can tolerate the prequels, I think you'll really dig the series', Strat. Everyone I've talked to likes them way more than the prequels. Many people talk about them being the best SW anything outside of the OT. I don't know. I can't totally endorse The Clone Wars series, but I think they are definitely worth checking out if one is a fan of the universe.
If there wasn't so much else on that I want to watch right now, I'd probably give the shows a real fair shot.

Umbara, apparently. Darkness on Umbara. If you can look that one up and check it out, it's worth watching even if you don't want to try the entire series. I don't remember if that's the name of part one or part two, though, so find out before you jump.

I'll start off by agreeing with Dime, I don't take animation seriously. However, given that these cartoons are official SW canon that help link together the years between movies then they become very worthwhile.
I just finished watching all of Rebels (season 1 and the first preview ep of season 2). Many people seem to feel the same way that it's intended for a younger audience at the beginning but there are much darker story lines and characters that show up towards the end. It's no spoiler that Darth Vader is in this show, and seeing him in action "in his prime" even if it's a cartoon, is great. Considering it's only 13-15 episodes in at this point, I would definitely recommend it. Also, the animation detail on some of the space scenes is very well done, as is the inclusion of the original SW score.
As for Clone Wars I probably watched 3 seasons and trailed off but I definitely enjoyed it. It was more a matter of time commitment, but I re-downloaded the whole thing and plan to start going through it again.
