American Gigolo.
What a masterpiece. The framing, the beautiful photography. Richard Gere, what an icon. Schrader at his finest.

fr fr though...I can't say I was bored necessarily, but there was a good bit that wasn't engaging. Only a handful of the many characters that I felt invested in. I'm willing to watch Part 2 though.
The end was an odd choice.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I haven’t watched many Seagal movies, but I realize the comment is speaking about that era of those type movies. There is another scene with some nice titties thoughFarmer John wrote:Damn. I'm outlennytheweedwhacker wrote:Not reallyFarmer John wrote:Lenny, is this tweet accurate?

I take that to mean he sat wheezing in a chair while a girl half his age awkwardly gyrated on his lap.

The Chase. Charlie Sheen at his scumbag best. Kristy Swanson outrageously sexy. Appearances by Flea, Anthony Kiedis, and Henry Rollins. Bunch of 90s skate-punk in the soundtrack. Rifkin kind of half-assing it. Stupid, sloppy, and a lot of fun.
