Civil War

It was ok. It never felt like there was persistent danger or that there was any motivation for any of it. S ok if combat scene though

Okay, The Insider was extremely excellent. I agree that it's right up there with Heat.

Possibly the better Al Pacino performance? Less over the top than Heat, but he's still very much doing his thang.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

No diner scene, but there was a pretty good one in a Japanese restaurant. I'll take it.

Just watched it. Almost stopped after the first 15 minutes, but I figured I’d at least get to Beverly Hills. Glad I did. Felt like a throwback to 80s cop movies. Not super funny, but it was entertaining. JGL looks like a night at the Roxbury tho. wtf?

The golfer being
Spoiler: show
the Shooter McGavin actor
was fun.
