:shake: Why can't they get a decent story for this series? The crafting in the new one sort of sounds like Far Cry 4, which I loved. I will definitely pick this up at a later date, but it's a bummer that I'll likely be skipping all the cutscenes.
It's just generic paint by the numbers villains/double cross stuff. Sort of like the skeleton of an Uncharted story, but without the interesting characters or good performances. Plus, the gun shooting mechanic is really clunky. The bow and arrow is fun though.

Titanfall 2 isn't what I was expecting. I was expecting, essentially, COD with a mech. But this is closer to Bionic Commando or Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

Do you like it? I enjoyed the beta, but found the ground game was much more fun than the mech game. Plus it was very twitchy -- gave me a headache after a couple hours. I don't think it would hold much long-term value for me personally, so I've let it go (in favor of Battlefield 1 which everyone should be playing).

It's all right so far. I just now starting messing around with MP. It definitely isn't as good as COD.

Sorry, I have no interest in BF1.

I've gotten pretty hooked on Titanfall 2 MP. I don't usually dive this deep into MP until I finish a campaign, but I've made an exception in this case.

Heard good things about Titanfall's campaign. Might have to Redbox it some weekend. I really have no interest in the MP.

The last WiiU will be produced this week. If you've been waiting, better act fast.

Did Titanfall 1 have a campaign?

It didn't.

So, Rise of the Tomb Raider gets better as your level up. Anyone planning to get Dishonored 2 next week?

I got one of those Steam Links for Christmas last year and I kind of hate it. If someone is playing on it, no one can use the computer. Absurd design. Thinking of getting one of the Steam Alpha computers and hooking it directly to the television instead.

I loved Rise of the Tomb Raider. I got 100%. One of the best adventure games . I had no issues with the story either.

I enjoy the challenge tombs and exploring/crafting. It's hitting the spot right now, but it's not quite Game of the Year quality to me. I would put Inside, The Witness, and Uncharted 4 above it right now (I realize RotTR came out last year, but I don't have an Xbox).

Is the crafting similar to Far Cry's crafting wheel? I loved that thing.

I can't remember Far Cry's system. This one is a pretty standard action game crafting system. Gather shit, different shit builds shit. You know. The ability upgrades are more fun.

I still play a ridiculous amount of Civ3.
