Sounds like everyone is in good communication and working together, ultimately understanding that this trilogy is important and will be beloved by many.

Well we knew that though. There isn't a blind hand off from jj to rian and rian to Colin.
There's a lot of intense work and collaboration on all of this. And I know that that includes the story group also. Who are vital in nursing branches out into other platforms and media to enrich the canon.
There seems to be a campaign of panic to take Colin out before it goes to filming. A campaign run by Star Wars fans.
They're forgetting he isn't doing this alone. He's at the table with the best minds and best Star Wars minds in the business. They'll correct course and guide him as they do the authors of the books all the way.
He's due a fair shot. I'm nervous about him too but let's give it to him

When do the second trailers for these things normally come out? This fall? Late summer?

D23 and San Diego comic con are in a few weeks.
It would border bizarre if they didn't show something at one or both of those.
The rumour is that a behind the scenes reel will be shown at SDCC and a Han teaser at D23
I can't see th m crossing their streams like that at all. But who knows?
Almost certainly an Obi Wan announcement at D23
In my head at least.

Lotta dead air in TLJ trailer w/nothing happening. I'd say this will be more action packed &more impactful than the first

OT but this looks like the start of something amazing. An inside look at working for Lucasfilm from 2001 - 2015 from the author of the Making of Star Wars books, J W Rinzler
