I don't like certain aspects of the video and felt it could have been better by including more relevant recent political stuff. I felt like speaking up on those issues was worthwhile because that's what the song's about. A couple here want me to like those forementioned aspects, despite the fact that I don't. I felt the video's redundant and should include new political material (since it's 2013), but also felt the band may have ignored including some of this because it could kinda seem like they are bowing before Barry O, whom Ed just raised funds for and is boys with. A couple here disagree.

I said the word bro, jokingly - no one liked it.

Later, after being asked where's the "other" hypocrisy, I explained Ed's been a hypocrite for decades and mentioned a number of things. A couple here disagree with each and think Ed's never been slightly hypocritical, he's just changed his mind.

That's pretty much it.

I would think he's more pro-life now that he's had kids and probably went through an ultrasound with his wife in the process. I think it would be interesting for him to write a pro-choice song now. I would think that would support his past indignation.

we just had our second kid. My wife is older and a diabetic so both pregnancies, the first one and the second one, had so many ultrasounds we basically have a flip book picture of our kids from eggs to babies. My views on abortion haven't changed. One of my best friends just had twins, and my wife and i both decided that if she had twins they couldn't vacuum one of those fuckers out of her fast enough.

(having said that, being anti-abortion is one of the conservative social positions I have some sympathy for. There are plausible moral arguments that can be made on its behalf)
