Blink Twice was awesome, very impressed with Zoe Kravitz as a director

This movie is weird as hell, but it kinda rules. I was all in for the first ~2/3rds but it lost me a little towards the end, only to redeem itself in the final act. Visually it absolutely rips, and the score is top notch. I'm not sure that I can recommend it, but I'm glad that it exists.

Finally saw it. One of the best movies of the year. Loved the mood and the cinematography, the suspense, and even the soundtrack. Underrated film.

Really enjoyed it. Simon Rex was fantastic, Bree Elrod (Lexi) was great too.
yeah i loved it. Need a rewatch. Rex is amazing...its a testament on how lousy the oscars are that he is not nominated.
I was starstruck with Suzanna Son.
Planning on seeing this one today.

There's a long shot of him riding his horse along the road on "The Journey Out" that could have gone on for five more minutes as far as I'm concerned. So beautiful.

Both Simon Rex and Suzanna Son did outstanding roles, well worthy of nominations for awards that year.

The movie felt really authentic, even with the lead talking about being a porn actor and all of that, and the story flying fast.

Very good movie.

About to start this one. Have high hopes.

Been watching 2021 movies for months, and this is the last one. Onwards to 2022 movies next.

Really was an excellent movie, with two powerhouse performances. The chemistry between the leads was astounding.

Black and white, with lots of cityscapes, was an interesting choice.

Blink twice.

Zoe Kravitz has the visual chops to make a weak script something really fun, watchable and brutal. I really want her to make more movies.

Great editing and photography too. Tatum was good.

Fuck m night.

Look, I know it's my fault for even trying but this dude maybe has 2 good movies. 2.5 maybe. But they were unique.

I would suggest watching this if you like "movies so bad they're good" but even then it falls short.

What a joke. M night sucks o fucking bad and I can't believe he's still allowed cart Blanche on this shit.

Glad hartnett is making a comeback of sorts and he did pretty good with the material but holy shit this was so fucking had

I had some issues with the SWAT team's protocols at the end.

Just finished Gold Run (Gulltransporten, 2022), a Norwegian movie about transporting gold out of the country after the Nazis invaded in 1940. Quite tense, with some war scenes, and a strong lead role by Jon Øigarden. Still felt a bit too simplified with the nazis, and with true history spiced up a bit with added action, which prevented the movie from fully reaching a top level.

3 out of 5 stars
